3 Days of Design 2027
UpcomingStarts 9 Jun3 Days of Design 2027, Copenhagen's citywide design festival, runs 9–11 June: 570+ brands in showrooms and galleries across the city, with free exhibitions, talks and workshops.

3 Days of Design is Copenhagen's annual design festival and one of the most important design events in the Nordic countries. The 2027 edition runs from Wednesday 9 to Friday 11 June. For three days, showrooms, galleries, streets and historic buildings across the Danish capital open exhibitions, product launches, talks and workshops on furniture, lighting and interior design, and every event is free to attend.
The 2026 edition brought together more than 570 brands, over 900 events and more than 125,000 visitors, making it a fixed date for designers, architects, buyers and journalists from around the world.
About the Festival
The festival began in 2013 as a small event in an old warehouse in Nordhavn, launched jointly by four Danish brands: Montana, Erik Jørgensen, Anker & Co and Kvadrat. Its managing director, Signe Byrdal Terenziani, has led it since the start. Instead of a central fair hall, the festival takes place in brands' own showrooms and in galleries across Copenhagen's design districts, which gives it a relaxed, open atmosphere.
Exhibitors apply each year and are selected on criteria including originality, sustainability, active participation and relevance to interior design.

Tickets
All festival events are free. You don't need to register to visit, but the official app offers a free QR ticket that makes entry and networking easier at participating venues. Some talks or evening events may have limited capacity.
Why Visit?
Copenhagen is one of the world's design capitals, and this festival is the best moment to see why. Big brands and small studios show their work side by side, often in their own spaces, so you see products in the settings their designers intended. For designers, the festival is a lesson in how a brand presents itself; for students, it is a chance to talk directly to studios and manufacturers without the formality of a trade fair.
Because the festival is spread across districts, it also shows Copenhagen itself: its architecture, cafés and streets are part of the experience. Many visitors combine the three days with visits to the Designmuseum Danmark and the city's architecture.
Planning Your Visit
Download the app and mark the brands and talks you want to see, then plan your days by district to avoid crossing the city repeatedly. Copenhagen is easy to explore by bike, and city bikes can be rented throughout the centre. Hotels fill up for the week, so book early.
Things to Know
