Update, 8 October 2026: the organisers announced that, because of a general alert, Oh! Comics Fest Barcelona 2026 and all its related activities had to be stopped.
Oh! Comics Fest is a festival of alternative comics and fanzines in Barcelona, Spain, bringing together self-publishing artists, small independent publishers and readers curious to discover new voices in comics.
The 2026 edition brings back exhibitions to the festival with a show dedicated to the illustration duo Brosmind, alongside a market of 60 exhibitors and a free programme of talks, podcasts and workshops.
Oh! Comics Fest Barcelona 2026 takes place 2–4 October 2026 in Barcelona.
About Oh! Comics Fest Barcelona
Since its first Barcelona edition in 2018, Oh! Comics Fest has become a meeting place for artists, self-publishers, independent publishers and readers interested in alternative comics and fanzines by emerging authors. In May 2026 the festival also held its first edition in Logroño.
The 2026 Barcelona edition takes place at Institut Martí Pous, inside the Fabra i Coats complex in the Sant Andreu neighbourhood.
What to Expect
The heart of the festival is the exhibitors’ market, where creators and small publishers present their latest publications. This year 60 exhibitors take part, from Barcelona and across Catalonia as well as from cities such as Vic, Terrassa, Lleida, Girona, Zaragoza, Alicante, Cádiz, Madrid and Valencia.
Around the market, the festival offers exhibitions and a full programme of free activities, including fanzine presentations, panel discussions, talks and workshops for all ages.
