Its 15th edition, IPT2027, accepts printed posters on any theme, posters on the theme "FACE" and a digital category for designers aged 30 or under and students. How to Submit

Everyone must first complete the IPT2027 entry form online. For Categories A and B, print the form and the poster labels, stick a label on the top right corner of the back of each poster and send the posters, unframed and unmounted, by post or courier. Posters must be between 36.4 × 51.5 cm and 120 × 180 cm. Overseas senders should mark the parcel "Printed matter – no commercial value" and declare a value under ¥10,000. For U30+Student, upload high-quality CMYK JPEGs at 200–300 dpi, sized to print at 103 × 72.8 cm. Posters are not returned, and selected A/B posters are requested as donations to the museum's collection.

Juries

The national jury includes Kazunari Hattori, Yoshiaki Irobe, Noriko Kawakami, Ken Miki, Kiyonori Muroga, Mina Tabei and Yuri Uenishi. The international jury is Cyan (Daniela Haufe and Detlef Fiedler), Kazunari Hattori, Kiyonori Muroga and Sulki & Min.

Tips for Entering

Posters are judged as physical prints, so print quality, paper and scale matter. For "FACE", the two required words give you freedom: integrate them into the design rather than adding them as an afterthought. Send early from abroad, since parcels must arrive by the deadline.

Things to Consider

  • Free entry, but printed posters must be posted.
  • Posters from 1 February 2024 onwards only.
  • Posters are not returned.
  • Deadline: 12 March 2027, 6 p.m. JST.
