The Designverse Awards are an annual design award run by Designverse, a Shanghai-based design platform. The 2026–2027 edition covers architecture, interiors, landscape and consultancy work, products, and brands and major events. It combines a data-driven first stage, based on the platform's rankings, search data and online opinion, with final voting by a 36-member international jury. The extended entry period ends on 27 January 2027, Beijing time, and winners are announced on 31 March 2027.

The award is aimed mainly at design firms, brands and companies rather than individual students, and entry costs are high.

  • Special Honour: the top four to six in each subcategory
  • Jury Grand Prize: the top three in each subcategory

How Judging Works

The first stage uses Designverse rankings, platform search data and online opinion analysis to produce nominations and Special Honours. The 36-member jury then votes on the Jury Grand Prizes and Outstanding awards, weighting innovation at 40%, sustainability at 30% and social impact at 30%.

How to Enter

Register an organisation account on the Designverse website, complete your profile and upload the project with text and high-quality JPG images without watermarks. Then email the organising committee with your entry details and business licence; it replies with payment information.

Preparing Your Project

For spatial projects, explain the design concept, spatial narrative, layout, materials, structure and how the space is used, with professional, watermark-free photographs from several angles, plans and details. For products, describe the concept, functional innovation, materials and user value, and show the product's form, structure and use. Once the award is decided, entry information cannot be changed, so check names, logos and texts carefully.

Is It Worth Entering?

This award will mainly interest firms with a presence in the Chinese market. Because winners pay separately for trophies, certificates and logo use, compare the total cost with the visibility you expect, and with other awards in your field.

About Designverse

Designverse is an online platform for the design industry in China, listing projects, design firms and suppliers and publishing rankings across architecture, interiors, landscape and products. The award grows out of that database, which is why platform rankings and search data play a part in the first stage of judging. Entering also means publishing your project on the platform.

Things to Consider

  • High entry fees per work.
  • Winner items sold separately.
  • Mainly for firms and brands.
  • Deadline: 27 January 2027.
